Central Board For Workers Education was started in the year 1958 as an autonomous body. The board was registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The board performs all its functions under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. The board conducts various training programmes at various levels for achieiving its objectives. Educating rural workers in protecting and promoting their social interests, is one of the prime objective of the board. The board also educate rural workers so that they can develop their organisation for fulling their functions and responsibilities.
Job Profile:
Central Board For Workers Education invites applications from eligible and qualified candidates on the vacant position of Education Officers. All interested candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions set for the specified position of Education Officers in Central Board For Workers Education. Applications recieved from uneligible candidates will not be considered by the board under any circumstances.
Eligibility:
General candidates are required to have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit i.e. 28 years as on 1 November 2011. SC/ST categories candidates are required to have age less than 33 years. Candidates belonging to OBC and PH categories, must have age not more than 31 years. Unreserved candidates must have been born after 1 November 1983 only.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have done Master’s degree with second class from a recognized university in the disciplines of Soclai Work, Economics, Sociology, Industrial Relation and Personnel Management, Political Science. Candidates with Master’s degree in any one of the above mentioned subjects with atleast 40% marks in aggregate and atleast 3 years relevant experience, are also eligible for the post. Candidates should have literacy in Information Technology. Candidates are also required to possess experience in Trade Unionism, Labour Laws, Teaching experience etc.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary under Pay Band-II i.e. Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Application Fee:
Application form should be accompanied by the application fee that is need to be paid by each and every interested candidates. The amount of application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 200 while SC/ST candidates are required to pay an application fee ofRs. 100 only. The amount of application fee is totally non refundable. The application fee should be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, Central Board for Workers Education, Nagpur payable at Nagpur. Application fee paid thorugh any other means, will not be accepted by the board.
How to apply: Applications must be made by the candidates in the prescribed format only. The details filled in the application form, should be correct in every respect. The application form should be sent alongwith the other required enclosures. The envelope containing the enclosures should reach to the below mentioned address on or before last date.
