Uttar Pradesh Technical University came into existence in the year 2000 through an ordinance issued by the Uttar Pradesh Government. The university is offering technical education and areas of education covered by this university under technical cadre are applied arts & crafts, pharmacy, town planning, architecture, technology and engineering.
